The Role
We are looking for ambitious, high-calibre, team-oriented professionals to join us as Senior Associates. You will bring a demonstrable track record with leading client engagements from start to finish, advising throughout and driving each transaction to successful completion. You will be comfortable managing professional-services teams and resources across geographies and running multiple transactions simultaneously.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to evidence experience against the following:
- Lead client engagements end to end across buy-side CDaaS programmes (market mapping, deal origination, and fractional execution) and sell-side mandates, covering:
- Strategy: working with clients on building and refining their M&A strategy
- Research: leading target / buyer universe research and profiling
- Deal origination: leading pipeline management, including outreach campaigns and interactions with identified counterparties.
- Target evaluation: applying expert financial modelling and valuation skills to deliver high-quality client work.
- Deal execution: negotiating offers, and managing due diligence projects
- Manage geographically dispersed teams to hit project milestones and deadlines and provide structured training and development to junior colleagues.
- Take full ownership and accountability for client engagements, ensuring quality across every workstream..
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s (MBA or equivalent) and/or professional qualification (CA, CFA, etc.) is advantageous.
- 5+ years of relevant M&A or management consulting experience.
- An ambitious self-starter with excellent communication skills and a genuine team mentality.
- Comfortable in an agile, fast-moving, global environment with a can-do attitude.
- Results-oriented, with strong attention to detail.
